BIOGRAPHY

I was born and grew up in Siemianowice, Poland. I graduated from Jagiellonski University in Krakow, Poland in 1995. My major was Art History. In 2008 I also graduated from College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, Illinoi, USA, where I studied photography.

Since I was a kid, I assisted my father when he was developing pictures from our vacations in our-bathroom-darkroom. Then when I was a teenager I started to do it by myself. That is how my interest in photography began.

During my college years I sterted to travel in Europe extensively because I wanted to see all the art pieces I was learning about. During my travels I also photographed  a lot. That is how I began to do what I love the most: to travel and to photograph.

In 2000-2010 I lived in Chicago, USA. I worked, I studied and of course I traveled all around the US and photographed. Now again I live in Siemianowice, Poland.

STATEMENT

Once I heard a wise advise:

Do not concentrate on your destination, concentrate on your journey.

Life is a Big Journey. Its final destination is death but before we reach it, we have to live through our life. It depends on us what we do with it. Traveling, visiting new places, meeting new people and different cultures, discovering the world with its countless faces and its unlimited beauty is worth living. I photograph what I discover during my Journey.
